Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數) divides life into 12 areas ("palaces") based on your birth date and time, then places stars into each palace to read temperament and life flow. Your birth time (down to a two-hour block) is required to fix the life palace precisely.

Why is my birth time required?
Zi Wei Dou Shu divides the day into 12 two-hour blocks, and the life palace is fixed based on which block you were born in — without it, precise calculation isn’t possible.
What if I was born after 11 p.m., or in a leap month?
From 11 p.m. to midnight in local true solar time is the Zi hour, and the lunar date is counted as the next day. For a leap month, days 1–15 are read as that month and days 16 onward as the following month when placing the life palace. Both follow the most widely used charting convention; some schools keep the same day or treat the whole leap month as one month.
Why is this different from my Saju result?
Saju and Zi Wei Dou Shu are separate symbolic systems with different calculation methods. The same birth date and time can read differently through each language.
How should I use this result?
Treat it as a prompt for self-reflection rather than a fixed diagnosis.
