What Is a Birth Chart?
A birth chart is a snapshot of the sky, as seen from the exact place you were born, at the exact moment you were born. It’s laid out as a circle and built from three core components:

The Three Core Signs
Sun Sign — Your Conscious Self
Determined by your birthday, this is the sign most people already know. It represents who you are — your conscious identity.

Interpretation:
- Sun/Scorpio/8th House: drawn to deep transformation and psychological depth. Self-expression is intense and often private. Identity is bound up with shared resources and themes of life and death.
- Moon/Taurus/2nd House: emotional needs center on stability and material security. A grounded, physical sense of safety provides emotional footing.
